· Must be able to quote on offshore fabrication works, ship repair and conversion works.
· Ability to quote on new ship-building works is an added advantage.
· Billing & settlement of invoices with client representatives for executed jobs.
· Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
· Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
· Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
· Oversee the bidding process for new projects, including the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
· Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
· Collaborate with the operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and payments.
· Monitor project performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
· Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
· Report to Head of Shipyard for all related works.
Requirement:
· Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Marine Engineering, or a related field
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably in the marine or oilfield industry.
· Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
