Job Responsibilities
1. Assists Doorman to performs hotel’s entrance activities that includes:
· Assist with traffic control and taxi booking at the driveway in the absence of the Doorman
· Assist to ensure cleanliness of the driveway area
2. Delivers and collects luggage to and from driveway, guest rooms and/or other designated areas as requested / required
3. Ensure all baggage / items are tagged correctly and, a portion of the slip is handed to guest for identification and claiming of baggage / items
4. Deliver newspapers, faxes, mail /messages to guests’ rooms and/or other designated areas as requested / required timely and efficiently
5. Be updated of Hotel’s amenities and services and provide prompt and efficient assistance to guests’ enquiries and requests
6. Escort guests to room assigned by Reception and assist with placing luggage in room and/or any necessary orientation of room safe box etc.
7. Assist with arranging of transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine service) for guests/visitors, and records advance transportation request as needed in the absence of the Concierge
8. Ensure and practice Safe Measures Management to assist with prevention of COVID-19 pandemic
9. Perform any work as and when assigned by the Front Office Management
Education / Work Experience / Work Details
1. Primary education
2. Able to speak and read basic English
3. Well-groomed and customer-oriented
4. Received prior training in fire evacuation and emergency procedures will be an advantage
5. 5 days work week
6. Able to work on weekends, Public Holidays, day/night shift
