Design Manager, Electrical

Job Highlight:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement successful design strategies and implement them for the project
• Ensuring that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget
• Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
• Advising on the selection of materials used and other aspects of procurement
• Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
• Reviewing designs with health and safety in mind
• Ensuring strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements and Singapore standards.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
• Managing processes relating to the project’s design to ensure that
• everything is delivered to schedule and budget
• Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience in engineering & construction, particularly in Electrical Engineering and Design from consultancy/contractors etc. are welcome to apply.
• Candidate possesses a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board; Singapore is an added advantage.
• Familiar with working within LTA rail and road structures protection zones will is an advantage
• Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
