- Assist VP Asset Mgmt with the purchasing of all CAPEX goods and equipment required by the properties (groupwide), in particular to new products, projects procurement and services contracts/agreements
- Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased. 3 quotes required
- Ensure the purchase of correct goods and materials at a competitive price and proper quantities/volumes
- Ensure supplier information is current and correct. New suppliers to be pre-qualified using checklist template
- Monitor and follow up all areas of CAPEX purchasing including contracts, agreements, quotations
- Work with finance to ensure comprehensive system for allocating and reconciling purchase orders in Netsuite
- Other ad-hoc duties - such as project tender for AEI, renovations, etc
- Maintain supplier product data including catalogue content, product specifications, photographs, descriptions and pricing and keep them confidential
- Develop and enforce purchasing standards, policies and procedures
- Use central system tool to monitor purchasing and provide reports and updates to management
Job Requirements
- Min.5 years experience in contracts & procurement managerial role in corporate or hotel environment
- Min. Diploma or equivalent in related discipline
- Proficient in MS office
- Proficient in Netsuite is an advantage
- Driven self-motivated team player
