Job Description
- Plan, co-ordinate and implement effective electrical preventive and condition-based maintenance programs/activities to prevent unplanned plant shut-down due to electrical fault.
- Trouble-shoot faults on electrical equipment, propose and implement counter-measures to improve reliability of electrical equipment.
- Improve energy saving initiatives and cost optimization programs.
- Perform engineering design and take charge of electrical projects and construction activities.
- Perform/witness testing and commissioning of new electrical facilities.
Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, design and project work in a process plant and/or production platform environment (chemical, petrochemical, oil refinery, marine industries)
- Knowledge in high and low voltage electrical distribution systems and power system protection schemes
- Good project management skill and knowledge of engineering standards
- Troubleshooting and analytical skill
- Good report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Team player and able to work in a fast changing & dynamic environment
- Entry level candidates without relevant experience but with keen interest in electrical maintenance work will also be considered.
