As an IT Project Manager for Workplace Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the IT infrastructure and services needs within the organization's office environment. This includes managing IT projects related to facility operations, end user computing, AV, ensuring the reliability and security of all systems, and working closely with various departments to enhance our workplace environment through technology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead IT projects related to office facilities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of IT solutions
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies
- Oversee integration of technology systems, such as security systems, network infrastructure, and communication platforms
- Ensure compatibility and inter-operability of various systems
- Provide technical support for AV systems, assisting staff with the operation of equipment
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for IT systems
- Work closely with external service providers to ensure end user support requests are met within agreed SLAs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networks
- Manages the escalations of end user issues
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives
- Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to understand requirements and provide appropriate IT support
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a facilities management context
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting a range of AV equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of current IT trends and technologies related to office facilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure
- Willingness to travel to different office locations as needed
- Availability to work outside of standard office hours when necessary
