Job Responsibilities:
- Daily review of safety rules
- Safe handling of chassis and other items engaged with the lift device
- Working knowledge chassis mechanics, usage, and customary repair methods
- Communicating with management on space requirements, backlog of work, and inventory issues
- Perform live chassis inspections in and out gate with an EIR or handheld device
- Chassis inspections and writing repair estimates to repair criteria.
- Container chassis repairs of various and all types.
- Ensuring that service records are kept in accordance with company policy and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair all chassis defects
- Some welding and fabrication of chassis
- Use of mobile app to log work orders and document repairs
Job Requirements:
- At least an ITE, GCE O level certificate or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset.
- At least 1 year of experience in trailer/chassis mechanics, usage, and customary repair methods
- Knowledge in welding, torch use is an advantage
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - able to withstand prolonged standing.
- Good hand-to-eye coordination is vital for this role.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and without direct supervision
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Assembling parts with nuts and bolts, including stamping, riveting, cutting
- Inspections on installations of all work performed, and Complete inspection forms
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Safety during work is our primary concern; always ensure adherence to safety rules.

Working Days / Hours:
- 5.5 days
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
- Saturday: 8am to 12pm
