Responsibilities:
- Develop the capabilities of the Changi East Schedule Team.
- Set the strategy and details for managing the schedule, key dates and relationships between different projects.
- Set up the schedule management strategy, workflow and implementation, including developing the baseline, tracking progress against planned, change management and schedule reporting.
- Develop construction schedules, such that schedule related challenges, interfaces and construction delivery issues are identified and raised to the design and delivery teams.
- Set up and maintain level 2 schedule in Primavera for all the Changi East works.
- Work with specialists to develop schedule for design, manufacture, installation and testing of various specialised airport systems.
- Support the development and delivery of 4D BIM for the whole site.
- Review contractors’ schedules in terms of contractual obligations and justification of progress and manage on-going submission of contractor’s schedules.
- Update programmes with contractors progress and report at both project and programme level.
- Provide risk assessed schedule and level of confidence for end date.
- Provide strategic overview and look ahead and provide advice regarding schedule/ time.
- Work with the design team to support in delivering the design, stakeholder sign-off and inputs / outputs to utilities, third parties and other teams involved in the project.
- Identify key interfaces with other parties, maintain a watching brief on interface milestones between projects and report on these.
- Work with project controls team and planners to ensure correct integration and consistent approach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management; Membership in relevant professional institutions.
- At least 20 years planning experience in major aviation and infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record and experience in projects of similar scale and complexity of at least S$1 billion in contract value.
- Extensive knowledge of managing schedule and interfacing for major, complex aviation projects.
- Construction experience in major programmes, with relevant airport experience in the last 10 years is essential.
- Proficient in Primavera P6.
- Good knowledge of all standard Microsoft packages and MS Project.
- Basic knowledge of 4D BIM.
This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
