Roles & Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for making decisions that ensure the quality and timeliness of construction deliverables by overseeing onsite operations teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Senior Project Manager in managing project engineering of electrical systems, including planning and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to ensure project progress meets submission deadlines and schedules, including coordinating activities and resolving problems.
Manage the work activities and performance of subcontractors, supervisors, and workers, and liaise with clients, relevant authorities, and consultants to resolve bottlenecks.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Maintain quality standards, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues promptly.
Prepare and update all site reports, monitor, and report project progress.
Conduct safety compliance checks and risk assessments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical works.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Knowledge of project management software and tools.
Experience with electrical works, Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, distribution boards, cable selection, electrical single-line drawings, cable containment systems, and lighting fixtures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD drawings.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
