Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of current IT infrastructure to determine readiness for cloud migration.
- Develop comprehensive cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Identify the most suitable cloud solutions and service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Manage the infrastructure services that enable the application systems environment in patch management, asset management.
- Supports in application architecture design, integration and acceptance, and infrastructure performance testing.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and processes
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in Data Centre, Cloud (AWS/Azure) and Servers & Infrastructure.
- Experience with Change Management / Service Request Management, Problem / Incident Management, Good analytical, communications and writing skills, able to front users and articulate requirements.
- Experience in planning, managing, and deploying Cloud services with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other CSPs.
- Experience in system architecture, resource planning, infrastructure performance and system hosting environment from server hardware till OS layer (including Virtualization technology and Storage) in support of new applications.
- Experience in using generic automation and orchestration platforms for Infrastructure Automation tasks (e.g. Scripts/Ansible/Terraforms).
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline and tools. (eg. Bamboo, GitLab, Azure DevOps, SHIP/HAT).
- Strong understanding of systems operations environment to ensure smooth and sustainable operations, including resiliency requirements.
- Strong understanding of Government Cloud IT Security Policy.
- Knowledge of scripting and programming in any scripting language (Powershell, Python, Perl, Shell + AWK, TCL, etc.) and communication protocols (REST, SNMP, SOAP, etc.).
