POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Pre-Sales / Solutions Architect (PSS) supports sales and business development teams in building marketable technical & services solutions for the organization.
The PSS works closely with stakeholders from sales, operations, back office teams to ensure proposed solutions adequately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers and product principals where applicable.
The PSS also manages relationships with key suppliers, business partners and works on new product & services offerings to keep relevant and expand the business portfolio.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on opportunities assigned from the sales team that contribute positively to the performance of the organization
Work closely with prospective customer’s stakeholders on requirement gathering, clarifying / scoping any unclear or ambiguous areas, and recommend possible solutions to address the requirements
Build and size out outsourcing solution based on customer requirements, aligned with delivery team capabilities
Manage internal process from bid qualification recommendations, internal coordination and obtaining
Providing timely updates to internal stakeholders on progress on tender and proposal submissions
Support business development team to work on new product & services portfolio
Meet assigned targets for growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported
Monitor customer support for outsourcing solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Diploma/Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science field
Minimum three years of related experience; or
Experience in Outsourcing account management (Managed Services); and/or
Minimum three years of Infrastructure support (e.g. Wintel, Unix, Network…etc.) experiences; and/or
Minimum five years of End User Support (e.g. Onsite, W2W, Projects, Helpdesk…etc.) experiences
Candidate with tender handling experiences will be added advantage
Product or IT service management certification will be and added advantage (e.g. ITIL, PMP or Prince)
PC proficiency and good working knowledge of office suite (Word / Excel / Powerpoint)
