Position Overview:
As an Outdoor Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and nurturing relationships with potential clients in designated geographic territories. You will actively engage in face-to-face meetings, networking events and client visits to promote our products or services and drive revenue growth. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, conducting product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts to secure new business opportunities. This role demands a blend of robust technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries and resolve outstanding issues promptly.
- Provide comprehensive sales support to existing customers, fostering account development and actively seek new customers to expand our business footprint.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate effective strategies for achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Execute daily sales activities, including follow-up on quote and sample submission status, encompassing price negotiation.
- Offer guidance and support to the sales coordinator in managing customer orders.
- Participate in monthly sales meetings, sharing valuable market insights and trends with management.
- To address any quality concerns promptly and collaborate closely with the Quality Control(QC) department to ensure timely provision of necessary documentation to meet customer needs.
· Assist in preparing and participating in trade shows within the assigned territory.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
· Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.
· A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar industry.
· Self-motivated, result-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Proficient in MS Office.
· Valid Class 3 driving license and a clean driving record, with the ability to travel to client sites and attend meetings as required.
