Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in cold calling and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to promote our international air and ocean freight services.
- Develop strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities through effective relationship building and networking.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and service issues promptly and effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication throughout the sales and operations process.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate logistics operations from order placement to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor shipment schedules, transit times, and service quality to meet customer expectations.
- Resolve operational challenges and implement solutions to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
- Develop strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns to expand our customer base and enhance market presence.
- Prepare and analyze monthly sales reports, performance metrics, and KPIs for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and operational processes using CRM software or databases.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and customer service to achieve business objectives.
- Provide support to colleagues and assist in ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of operational coordination preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving issues under pressure.
- Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
