Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Achieve individual sales targets by conducting the full sales cycle: lead generation, follow-up, service delivery, and transaction closure.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements, assess equipment needs, and prepare and deliver sales proposals and technical presentations.
- Highlight how the company’s products are superior to competitors and follow up with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Provide continuous after-sales support, including identifying problems with installed equipment, recommending improvements, and maintenance.
- Plan and oversee daily activities to meet project progress and quality goals.
- Execute and follow through on sales plans set by the manager to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence in Singapore.
- Collaborate with the team to gather information and submit tenders.
- Continuously improve knowledge of supplier products to introduce technology that adds value to customers.
- Review sales activities with management weekly, including prospective customer status, sales goals, and deadlines.
- Produce regular reports to communicate with suppliers on sales activities and project status.
- Travel within Singapore up to 70% of the time, with occasional travel beyond Singapore.
- Must have a Class 3 driving license.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in any engineering field.
- Prior experience in a similar industry with a similar sales cycle and a proven track record of success.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Ability to quickly build relationships with clients.
- Highly motivated with a hunter instinct to develop potential prospects into business opportunities.
- Creativity and resourcefulness to introduce impactful technology to customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience with tender systems such as Gebiz.
- Good time management skills.
