Assistant Manager - Performance Management

Primary Objectives of Position

Support HOD on Business Operations & manage respective Section

Reporting to Head of Performance Management

  • Responsible for the management functions that enable Performance Management to effectively oversee undertaking of the Rapid Transit System (RTS) License as well as policy set forth by SBS Transit Management.
  • He / She possesses good knowledge of the License and SBS Transit Policies and serves to safeguard SBS Transit’ interests in the undertaking and compliance to the relevant regulatory requirements, code of practices, standards, internal policies, and other applicable requirements.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide support to HOD on cross sectional scope
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and add value to the organization.

License Compliance Section

  • Lead the team to provides support to carry out plans according to SBS Transit business needs in the areas of Licence Compliance in accordance with the License.

Performance Management & Report Section (FRU & Reliability)

  • Lead and monitor financial performance of the business.
  • Establish a performance monitoring system to analyse Rail Business operational and engineering performance standards, carry out trend analysis and performance benchmarking.
  • Lead the team on Fare Revenue Functions & RRI Reporting.

Quality Management

  • Lead the team to implement ISO 9001 (Quality Assurance) & ISO 55001 (Asset Management System) inline with international Best practices.
  • Review business processes improvement solutions to determine effectiveness
  • Establish and manage Document Control System for Rail Business.

Specific Safety Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe working environment

Job Specifications


Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in any Engineering Discipline, or related fields preferred; or equivalent combination of work experience.
  • Experience in managing team

Technical skills include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Railway Operations and Maintenance knowledge and experience would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in Asset Management or Quality Management System

Attributes

  • Effective written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Good people management and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, meticulous, and willingness to learn.
