Job Responsibilities:
- Arrange collection and deliveries of Sea freight for import moves
- Taking operational, routing, and customer service responsibility for all shipments handled
- Using preferred list of truckers and vendors to identify customer solutions based on rates and service
- Coordinating between shippers, consignees, and sea carriers
- Complete all necessary import documentation in order to remain compliant with regulations
- Entering import shipment information into the system
- Receive, review, and process documents, follow up with origin offices for clarifications and resolutions on paperwork, and follow all processes to ensure smooth completion
- Establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with customers and vendors
- Providing classification recommendations to customer with approval
- Coordinating and preparing all necessary import documentation
- Responding to any customer questions concerning import milestones, shipment status, and charges
- Remain within company guidelines to customer inquiries regarding shipments
- Escalating uncommon, complex customer issues to the next level manager for resolution when necessary
- Processing the billing, invoicing & cost verification for the shipment.
- Performing other related duties, as assigned.
Requirement:
Require at least 1 year experience with freight forwarding (Import & Export).
Salary commensurate with experience.
Able to adapt in a fast pace enviroment.
Teamplayer with good communication skills.
Min. O Levels.
