Job Roles and Responsibilities:
・Drive market expansion in Asia Pacific markets through existing and new channels.
・Developing broadcasting distribution, sales and merchandising in Asia.
・Manage and implement the sales forecasting, planning and buyer driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales and marketing organization.
・Developing training materials and managing sales staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products or services offered by the company.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or economics from an accredited college or university
• Must have 15 years of experience in a sales related in media, broadcasting, or Information Provider.
• Minimum 5 years management or leadership experience in listed companies.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in managing commercial projects with annual sales of more than SGD 10 billion. Provide track record in sales performance (achieved or over-achieved sales target)
• Strong management skills and experience leading organizational transitions to ensure successful adoption of new processes
• Thorough understanding of market developments of Media and broadcasting
• Analyse market data to identify business opportunities
• Evaluate recommendations for potential business opportunities
• B2B Business Development with potential business partners and clients.
• Excellent Negotiation & Sales Skills
• Must be fluent in both English and Japanese in order to communicate effectively with the head office and stakeholders in Japan. Reporting to the head office and stakeholders includes important matters such as budget management, and approximately 80% of the work is conducted in Japanese.
