JOB DESCRIPTION
Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a lead in the organization with responsibility to set strategic direction and overall goal for the Regional Operations team in APAC, ensuring alignment with broader organization objectives.
- Represent Trust and Safety Compute in the APAC region, building strong partnerships with Platforms and Ecosystem regional leadership team.
- Drive alignment and strengthen partnership with stakeholders across Trust and Safety and other cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Play/Android Business, Government Affairs and Legal.
- Lead the teams responsible for overseeing resolution developer concerns and sensitive escalations related to Play Policy issues.
- Identify emerging regional risks and collaborate with relevant Trust and Safety/Product teams across to drive mitigation and build long-term prevention strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, program management, business strategy, technology research, anti-abuse, Product Policy, Trust and Safety, Technology or related fields.
- 8 years of experience in people management, leading teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety.
- Experience in crafting compelling narratives to influence internal and external stakeholders, as well as presenting to executives in the organization.
- Knowledge of complex problem solving and efficient execution.
- Ability to function well in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to solve large unstructured business problems, working closely with cross-regional and cross-functional teams.
