An industry leader in Timber and Metal Doors supply currently has openings for PURCHASER. This role requires candidates that are well versed in MS Office with good attention to details and timelines. Candidates are expected to oversee all PURCHASING adminstrative aspects of projects that the company undertakes - including but not limited to
- Procurement of goods
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers to define/clarify/consolidate/evaluate request specifications
- Raise /issue/process PO and DO upon approval and forward to vendors and suppliers
- Track receipt of purchases
- Check all incoming good against delivery invoice, request specifications and purchase records to ensure the correct type/quantity/quality
- To monitor inventory levels
- Ensure purchasing processes to comply with internal and external policies and processes
- Versed in MS Office and/or ERP software
The candidate must be able to work well with all departments and be diligent in follow up actions.
