Technical Supervisor (Air Compressor Industry)
Reporting To: Managing Director (dotted to Project & Sales Manager in the absence of MD)
- Location: Tuas
- Monday - Friday (8:30 am–5:30 pm)
- Salary range: $4500 – $5000 + petrol card allowance, with variable bonus
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To focus, plan and conduct regular meetings for daily activities such as scheduling for planned PM maintenance, overhaul, project support, breakdown, commissioning, of air compressor (stationary and portable), air dryer and related products. To work closely with the operation team and sales team to manage flow of work order.
- To work closely with the operation team and act as a stakeholder to sales team such as managing workflow of work order, investigate non-compliance, non-performance matters and ensure conformity.
- To ensure all jobs are promptly close and open a job order/ job sheet after sales confirmation.
- To manage schedule resources for client, contractors, and company manpower to achieve job completion success and to reduce repetitive work.
- To manage and control inflow/ restock of spare parts and outgoing of spare parts by cross reference, OEM, replacement and original parts and submit for upkeeping data – stock check.
- To ensure compliance and improvement on work related issues such as submission of technician’s details, health declaration (Covid 19), entry passes to site, Risk Assessment, method statement and others.
- To support by attending all technical meetings, product training by principal, conduct classroom and site training for technicians /customers/ sales team, when necessary, with occasional traveling.
- Provide ad hoc inspection of enquiries on technical support and to attend meetings with Sales Manager in quotations and/ or enquiries from customers when necessary.
- Provide product training, and first-line technical support to technicians and customers.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.
