Responsibilities:
· Perform system administration of laboratory software and systems, user account management, licensing management and renewal, and technical support.
· Partner with instrument vendors on system requirements, setup, and configuration for new systems as well troubleshooting, upgrades, data migration, and decommissioning.
· Actively respond to incidents and requests for all laboratory software and systems.
· Use the IT helpdesk system to track helpdesk calls and/or escalate issues when necessary.
· Document relevant information to keep laboratory systems in a maintainable and recoverable state (e.g. creating process documentation and/or systems architecture drawings and software configurations as appropriate).
· Work with IT Operations and Network team to connect Mfg/laboratory instruments and other equipment to the laboratory network.
· Work with IT End User Services in troubleshooting Mfg/laboratory hardware and software-related issues.
· Act as an escalation point for the ServiceDesk team.
· Provide backup support for non-lab helpdesk tickets that require hands-on support if other on-site IT resources are assisting others.

Requirements:
· A relevant degree in Computer Science or IT.
· A minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT support role with expertise in hardware, software, firmware, and infrastructure.
· Good understanding and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
· Experience working with multiple vendors and service providers.
· Experience with ITIL/ServiceNow.
· Experience supporting/troubleshooting systems as required with experience working in a GxP/GMP environment preferred.
· Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills a must.
· Ability to work autonomously on various problems and be willing and able to take on new responsibilities as needed.
· Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment where results are achieved through influence and the incorporation of multiple points of view.
· Independently motivated, detail oriented and good problem-solving ability.
