- Coordinate with project team i.e. architects, surveyors, construction manager, safety and subcontractors to ensure that all project are integrated and executed efficiently.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is progressing according to the plan and schedule.
- Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Oversee and regularly review engineering processes and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Work independently and to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement new processes and technology, to offer innovative solutions to customers.
- Design, communicate and implement an operational plan, Create and maintain cost estimates for projects and programs.
- Identify, develop, and gather the resources necessary to complete the project. This may include preparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications.
- Developing project schedules, budget, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, and external contractors.
- Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (engineering, design, drafting, technical) to secure specialize resources and contributions for the project.
- Set priorities, allocate tasks, and to meet projects targets and milestones, ensure smooth authority submission.
- Solve technical issue such as drawing discrepancy, site condition changes, verify plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy, raise RFI when necessary.
- Ensure accuracy of setting out, levelling and site surveying and all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Support Site manager to liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
- Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
- Overseeing quality control and assist safety department to achieve health and safety target on site.
- Preparing method statement,quotation, progress claim and payment certifications.
- Ensuring all site inspection and record as per client/developer requirement.
- Ensuring all testing and quantity inspection are carried out as per contract requirement.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date, properly filed, and accessible for reference and auditing purposes.
- Monitor and control resource usage to prevent wastage and optimize efficiency.
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned.
