Role Overview and Key Responsibilities:
The Program Administrator will provide essential support to the Faculty of Management and Technology, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting in the administration of educational programs. This entry-level role is pivotal in facilitating effective communication and organization within the department under the supervision of the Dean and/or the Chief Academic Officer.
Administrative Support and Coordination:
· Assist in the coordination of daily administrative activities to support the Faculty of Management and Technology.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to curriculum, faculty, and students.
· Handle logistical arrangements for classes, meetings, and faculty events.
Communication and Interpersonal Engagement:
· Serve as a point of contact for students, faculty, and external parties.
· Facilitate effective communication channels within the faculty and across departments.
· Assist with the dissemination of information to students and staff regarding academic schedules, changes, and updates.
Resource Management and Operational Assistance:
· Support the Faculty of Management and Technology in resource allocation and inventory management.
· Assist with budget tracking and expense management to ensure cost-effectiveness.
· Organize and maintain digital and physical files for easy access and administrative efficiency.
Student Support Services:
· Assist with the organization of student orientation and registration processes.
· Provide administrative support for academic advising and career guidance initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
· Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role is beneficial but not required.
· Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
· Organizational Skills: Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficient with office software Google Workspace and Office 365
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
· Customer Service Experience: Skills in handling inquiries and providing support in a courteous and professional manner.
· Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with high precision and accuracy.
· Initiative: Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support the faculty in various capacities.
