Job Description: We are seeking an Event Project Manager to ensure a seamless experience for Event Organizers using GEVME throughout their event journey. The ideal candidate will excel under pressure and possess both the skills and experience in event-related project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather project requirements
- Define project scope and stakeholder roles
- Assist the Sales Team with pre-sales advisory when needed
- Manage project timelines, estimates, and status reports
- Handle complex problems and develop efficient processes
- Prioritize requirements to meet market needs within resource constraints
- Guide clients through onboarding and provide training as necessary
- Collaborate with customer operations to enhance satisfaction and reduce support needs
- Anticipate and resolve potential issues to maintain project momentum
- Take ownership of problem resolution
- Ensure timely service delivery, quality, and operational efficiency
- Provide product feature feedback based on client requests
- Coordinate with the Sales team on project handovers and documentation
Requirements:
- Strong project management skills with multi-project tracking ability
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in digital event planning (registration, websites, etc.)
- Proficiency in project management software
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Diploma or Degree in an IT-related field is advantageous
- 2+ years of relevant experience in event or IT project management
- Demonstrated creative and strategic thinking in implementation
- Familiarity with GEVME is a plus
