ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a role in driving growth and fostering long-term relationships within the client base in Singapore and Japan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparation of new loan transactions, credit reviews, and investment memorandums for submission to the credit committee for approval and parent company for consultations.
2. Prepare credit proposals and credit reviews and manage the end-to-end process, including legal documentation, implementation, on-going credit monitoring.
3. Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and loan agreements.
4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on the portfolio assigned.
5. Prepare pitch book and information memorandum for presentation in Japanese Language to existing customers and prospective clients.
6. Engage in new business development by prospecting new potential corporate customers.
7. Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, risk management guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
8. Any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Japanese Business Development.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
1. Degree in Business Administration, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the corporate banking industry.
3. A team player and possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English language to facilitate communication with Japanese customers and the Head office.
