RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct routine research and development for the project under the supervision of PI/Co-PI.
- Implement data gathering methods, collect research data, and data pre-processing.
- Design and implement core and baseline machine learning/NLP methods/approaches for the project.
- Conduct experimental evaluation of the designed methods and algorithms.
- Participate in drafting technical reports and research papers.
- Attend regular grouping meeting and discussions.
- Administrate and maintain the hardware/software environment such as development platforms, software packages and toolkits.
- University graduates with a Bachelor/Master.
- Major in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12-month relevant research experience in one or more of the following areas: natural language processing, machine learning, and/or social network/media analysis.
- A record of publications at recognized international venues.
- Excellent skills in programming.
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning methods and toolkits.
- Experience with programming in Python, Java, and C/C++.
- Demonstrated experience on natural language processing, machine learning, and/or social network mining and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
