Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability samples, and non-routine samples.
- Conduct sensory sessions and packaging integrity checks.
- Manage calibration, maintenance and qualification of laboratory equipment.
- Responsible for ISO 17025 accreditation processes.
- Responsible for procurement and monitoring of lab inventory, liaising with vendors for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Draft, review and maintain standard operating procedures for laboratory equipment and processes.
- Assist in method validation and verification.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, maintain high housekeeping standards, and uphold Good Laboratory Practices.
- Assist in driving continuous improvement activities in the laboratory.
- Provide scientific assistance to our partners across the globe.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or related discipline.
- Prior working experience in a laboratory or food and beverage industry would be an advantage.
- Experienced in operating laboratory equipment such as GC, HPLC, ICPOES, Karl Fisher, and Carbon Isotope Analyzer would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 accreditation is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
