Job Title: Finance Manager(General Ledger/Financial & Statutory Reporting)
Job Location: Biopolis, Singapore
Job Type: Contract - 1 year with option to extend for 1 year (1+1)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
General
- Responsible for month and year end closing of accounts for the Research Institutes as allocated.
- Responsible for and timely processing of transactions with the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for the assigned processes, including but not limited to Grant Utilisation, Prepayment, GST reporting, Manpower provision, Lease Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Consolidation.
- Responsible for timely review of month and year end closing of accounts as well as preparation of and follow up on monthly accounting schedules, mid year & year end consol pack and bank reconciliation
- Handles InterCo confirmation and IntraCo reconciliation and follow up on the reconciling items with counter-parties for closure
- Support audit fieldwork with spontaneous response to auditor on selected samples
- Support adhoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent Professional Accounting Qualifications such as ACCA.
- Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance role
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Experience with SAP will be advantageous.
- Good command of MS Office applications.
