Principle Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Sales & Distribution in achieving strategic goals and delivering revenue targets for BBCS’ channels, streaming, and content sales businesses in the Southeast Asia region.
- Good understanding of customers, market conditions and BBC brands and content to identify and prioritize opportunities that offer the most value to BBCS and its customers.
- Negotiate and finalise deals and renewals with the support of line managers while communicating effectively with Legal and Finance colleagues to prepare and sign agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate with customers to ensure the fulfilment of contractual obligations and address any potential issues.
- Thoroughly research and analyse customers' products, services, competitors, and industry to understand and report their business objectives and needs.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to understand and analyse their needs, sharing market insights and feedback to identify additional commercial and business development opportunities. A critical aspect of this role is to challenge, probe, and understand customers’ needs and communicate them as actionable insights.
- Manage the collection of outstanding payments from accounts. Coordinate with legal and finance teams to develop and implement payment and collection plans.
- Travel in the SEA region for customer-facing meetings to build rapport with key customers

Professional experience
- Five years minimum sales and account management experience working with creating and offering complex solutions to senior levels in organisations
- Previous experience of working within a global media organisation essential
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency in a fast paced environment.
- Having marketing and research analysis experience will be an advantage.
