About Us: My client is a leading consulting firm specializing in providing data-driven solutions to their investment client. Currently seeking a talented Consultant with expertise in Tableau and data visualization to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:As a Consultant specializing in Tableau and data visualization, you will play a key role in helping our clients derive insights from their data through compelling visualizations. This position requires strong technical skills in Tableau along with a solid understanding of data analysis and visualization best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- (Depends on seniority) Empower Clients with Data Insights: Lead a team of data specialists who collaborate with client technology teams to design and implement data products that unlock actionable business intelligence.
- Champion Data Platform Excellence: Manage and ensure the ongoing success of our data platforms, including providing Business as Usual (BAU) support, maintaining high availability, and resolving incidents efficiently.
- Safeguard Data Integrity: Hold the highest standards for data security and compliance. You'll meticulously monitor applications, actively identify and address potential issues, and work collaboratively with clients to maintain a robust data environment.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Be a catalyst for innovation. Proactively identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and compliance enhancements within the data platform and client data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Tableau and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and other Tableau products.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior hands-on experience in writing SQLs to fetch data from various data source (Database, API, JSON)
- Proficiency in one of the programming languages preferably PySpark or Python
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Experience with other data visualization tools is a plus.
