Global Financial services vendor seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to help actively drive the implementation of the company's Risk Management Framework to support business and strategic goals, including adherence to essential legislative and regulatory standards. The role is varied and will include ownership of operational and compliance risk management programs, ensuring compliance to internal, external and regulatory reqiurements
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Executive Risk & Compliance Committee meetings by developing and presenting monthly risk and compliance reports.
- Continuously improve and maintain a mature risk management framework, and the controlled environment to reduce risk.
- Track identified risks and issues, and ensure accurate monitoring and reporting to the top management
- Develop and implement a cycle of self-review and remediation against compliance requirements relevant to the
- Support Risk reviews, compliance obligations mapping and assist with second line control testing activities.
- Document key risk and compliance processes .
Key Skills and Experience:
- Min 7 years with proven experience in a Risk and Compliance Management role.
- Proven track record of formulating and implementing risk and compliance management strategies and operating practices.
- Experience in undertaking internal audit is preferred
- Experience in banking / financial services is a plus
- Good understanding of regulatory requirement
- Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in risk management. ideally also compliance frameworks, GRC systems, BCP/DR, and third-party risk management.
