Job Purpose
The role is responsible for handling all operational matters related to Private Banking, as well as back up for some remittance/deposits and Accounts Payable functions.
Job Description
- Handling the settlement of all wealth management products, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, structured deposits etc.
- Handling of Corporate Actions, position reconciliation and client statements
- Trained to be trainer to the new system, while participating in systems UAT
- Making constructive and practical suggestions to enhance operational workflow and reduce operational risks
- Processing the Deposits and Remittances (D&R) such as Deposit accounts and remittances for Corporate Banking
- Processing the Accounts Payables, including providing support for vendor payments and staff claims (non-Oracle)
- Management of SWIFT Alliance system, including processing of SWIFT
- Co-ordination with other stakeholders to resolve issues
- Carries out other duties as and when assigned
Requirements
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ related working experience within the Banking industry, particularly in PWM Operations space
- Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties
