Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer to join our Global Markets Technology team. The ideal candidate will enhance the infrastructure and code quality of our valuation framework and systems, implement valuation models, and provide critical support for our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the infrastructure and code quality of the valuation framework and systems.
- Implement valuation models in Quartz to compute Present Value (PV), Risk sensitivities, and Profit and Loss (PnL).
- Fix valuation issues in the code.
- Implement Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) for the Credit line of business.
- Liaise with global counterparts on projects and issues that affect the APAC region.
- Provide occasional holiday support coverage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of developer experience with strong knowledge in Python and other OO (object-oriented) programming languages such as C#, WPF, and Java.
- Strong object-oriented concepts and experience in large-scale enterprise development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database programming.
- Understanding of the valuation of financial products, including risk sensitivities and PnL calculation. Knowledge of Fixed Income Credit and Loan Products is preferred.
- Strong quantitative background is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
