Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of programs/initiatives which include defining objectives & outcomes, proposing approach and establishing process and governance framework, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand the requirements.
- Manage overall programme budget, timeline and resources to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
- Influence decision-making through clear storytelling; simplify complex concepts and deliver the ideas in a clear and concise manner to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Track initiative/program performance and provide progress updates at the governance meetings with stakeholders. Highlight risks and issues. if any. Ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place and benefits are realized.
- Partner Learning & Development team and Tech SMEs to drive tech competency across Tech teams, ensure fit for role.
- Collaborate widely with RMG, EASRE and Tech teams to strengthen tech risk culture, embed risk mindset and behaviours.
- On consequence management, continue to strengthen and reduce breaches and/or incidents, highlight hotspots, key themes on a quarterly basis as well as skill deficiency at Tech EXCO for management oversight and intervention, if required.
- Support any adhoc strategic initiatives on people agenda, technology risk culture, if any.
- Provide active guidance and mentorship to the team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience preferably with exposure in Banking and Finance industry and in Technology environment.
- A track record of delivering large transformational programmes on time and within budget with focus on change management, people and culture
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with experience in applying frameworks and tools for analysing problems/issues, developing strategies and action plans
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior management
- IT savvy, proficient in MS Excel and Power point skills.
