Job Description:
The job requires the candidate to support the Academic Vice Chair of Faculty and Professional Development (FPD) and the EYE ACP office on the administration of initiatives, and the day-to-day operations.
Job Duties:
- Supports the Deputy Director / Director and Manager / Senior Manager in the administration of EYE ACP initiatives, and supports the day-to-day operations of the EYE ACP office.
- Supports the Academic Vice Chair of Faculty and Professional Development (FPD), and the Deputy Directors of Education in their pursuits and implementation of faculty and professional development programmes targeted specifically for clinician scientists and researcher
- Supports the SERI Research Training and Development Office
- Includes keeping up to date on current trends in order to timely identify needs and gaps in practice / structure and / or culture.
- Serving and assisting as a central resource for new faculty members in their transition into the EYE ACP community.
- Organisation of social and informal networking and collaborative events.
- Manages and administers the academic / teaching appointments, and its related processes from nomination to appointment (and renewal) for researchers
- Oversees and tracks ACP Programme Grants and other Duke-NUS competitive grants, which involves research, education and clinical innovation programmes.
- Works closely with Finance to ensure proper governance and tracking of all ACP competitive grants
- Any other activities / initiatives as assigned by the department.
Job Requirements:
- A Degree from any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, preferably in healthcare setting
- Strong people interpersonal skills with a pleasant disposition and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
