Main Responsibilities:
Technology Change
· Be the change gatekeeper, responsible for ensuring that business changes are appropriately thought through, defined, prioritised, planned, tested and executed.
· Create and continually maintain the change pipeline, prioritising (and re-prioritising) in order to meet business needs and optimising the available change capacity.
· Work with Singapore business to:
1. Understand the strategy, priorities and the operational challenges facing the Singapore business in order to facilitate change activities that appropriately prioritized.
2. Fully understand issues and opportunities to find optimal solutions for the business with regards to delivering value quickly.
3. Help the business objectively value and prioritise change to a pre-agreed methodology.
4. Regularly communicate on changes and change pipeline status.
5. Understand and translate requirements for the IT team.
6. Identify all business areas impacted by change - communicate, coordinate and involve in the lifecycle
7. Ensure the available resources work on the highest value changes in relation to the Singapore business priorities.
8. Answer day-to-day questions on issues, functionality or facilitate answers from the appropriate subject matter experts.
9. Specify and write acceptance criteria. Write and organize user stories.
10. Assist with the elaboration of Epics, Themes and Features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint.
11. Assist with release planning to define the combined set of features that constitute a production releases
12. Continuously monitor, measure and evaluate the actual value the change has delivered against the initial estimated value.
13. Identify room for further improvement as part of the change lifecycle.
Broader Change Responsibilities
· Continuously engage all stakeholders to ensure the team is building the right things and delivering value.
· Continuously review progress and accept or reject the work done at the end of every sprint. Where appropriate, the reprioritisation of incomplete or incorrect work.
· Communicate status regularly to stakeholders including progress and rationale for day-to-day decisions.
· Support the change requestor in post-change evaluation against stated benefits.
Leadership
· Lead the business, company strategy, vision and culture as an active member of the SGLT, ensure business results and priorities are on track.
· Lead by example and develop and drive a culture that supports coaching, developing and motivating employees to perform to their highest standards
