Responsibilities
- Plan and provide directions on all aspects of the organization's product development policies, objectives and initiatives
- Oversee research for new products, product enhancements and redesign
- Perform and accomplish the research and development function to develop new products
- Conduct research on the ideas and assess their feasibility from a market and financial standpoint
- Source and work with external suppliers on prototypes till commercialization
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Food Technology/Food Science, Food Nutrition would have an advantage
- A good team player who can work independently as well as with colleagues from other functions such as QA, Manufacturing, R&D counterparts across markets etc.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Self-motivated, result-oriented and ability to effectively lead and motivate multifunctional teams
