The Vice President & Country Head for Singapore is a senior leadership role, tasked with planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operational function of Business Management not limited to Sales/Construction/Operations/Corporate Planning of Singapore Data Center Asset Management Company and Operating company.
This role leads the organization's efforts to develop and improve operations through the efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organizational resources.
This role directs operations review of cost and service structures, productivity measures, and delivery methods to achieve planned Return on Investment (ROI).
The role is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Responsible for the P&L management and carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational operational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Executives / Senior Leadership.
- Oversees the implementation of operations strategies and spearheads new initiatives.
- Oversees daily operations of the company and the work of executives.
- Leads a team of operations professionals and encourages maximum performance and dedication.
- Implements and monitors performance measures for the operation (including a consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness), often in the form of dashboards convenient for the review of high-level key indicators.
- Participate and support in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.) and manage relationships with vendors/partners.
- Management of Cross-Functional Program (e.g. Data Center Construction project, Predevelopment management).

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
- Substantial experience gained within a similar senior leadership role preferably within a similar global organization.
- Substantial hands-on experience in strategic planning, and business operations.
- Substantial leadership skills with excellent work ethic.
- Substantial experience with successfully managing complex budgets.
