The successful incumbent will assist in performing and overseeing day-to-day Finance operations as follows:

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of duties under assigned modules and cost centers
  • These may include certain aspect of the financial modules such as Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), PO-AP related & Claims system, Cash mgt and Bank, Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), GST, Financial Reporting, Schedules preparation and reconciliation to financial reports (Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets). Transactional Data entries into the various modules are expected.
  • Manage the Month-end and year-end closing of the assigned modules and/or cost centers, accurately with the Finance team and Stakeholders (Internal and External)
  • Preparation of assigned monthly and yearly management reports, Audit and other schedules, Fixed Assets Schedule, and Bank Reconciliation when applicable
  • Management of Quarterly GST reporting (partial/whole company level)
  • Assist with Fixed Assets, Inventories physical sighting/ count exercises, when assigned
  • Maintenance of financial records under statutory requirements and ensuring their approvals and completeness in our ERP/ Accounts
  • Resolve Accounting related discrepancies with stakeholders (internal and external), Business Group counter-parts to rectify issues that have financial implication/closing of accounts
  • Assist with Audit requirements and clarifications
  • Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time by the HOD/ CFO
  • Assigned tasks may vary and subject to re-deployment by the HOD subject to work exigencies and corporate development
  • Undertake any duties as assigned by the Head, Finance

Requirements

  • At least a Diploma or equivalent (at Executive level) in Accountancy
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Service industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel (especially Pivot, Vlookup etc, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Have experience in managing the full set of accounts, familiarity with Synergix ERP would be an added advantage
  • Energetic and able to work well in a fast-paced, high work volume, results-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and under pressure within tight schedules
  • Resourceful, active team player with good interpersonal and willingness to learn
  • Meticulous, organized and able to handle data entries accurately and efficiently
