Job Scope:
Overall Management
- Execute strategic communication programs for internal and external audiences
- Support the Singapore communications team on media relations, social media, issues management, customer & staff events, community relations, and internal staff communications and campaigns
- Conduct and collate research necessary for drafting speeches and memos for senior leaders
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks and logistics for senior visits, CCO town halls, volunteer activities including Global Community Day initiatives, global brand campaign activations, etc.
Governance and Controls
- Manage and support all governance processes including approvals for U.S. government officials at events and audits
- Maintain and update the records management system and quarterly reporting for the team, and any other ad hoc reporting requirements by the regulator or government agencies
- Monitor and manage budgets to specific briefs
External Communications
- Regular media monitoring and analysis; manage vendors when required
- Identify speaking opportunities and platforms to position senior management and support them in their communications needs
- Liaise with government and industry partners where necessary on speaking engagements for business leaders
Internal Communications
- Execute internal communications plans to ensure that key messages reach staff
- Maintain the Singapore intranet pages, assist with internal memos and quarterly newsletter creation
- Compile and update business information, presentations, and fact sheets
- Develop materials to support internal communications strategies including talking points, PowerPoints, etc.
- Leverage all internal platforms to disseminate key messages
Customer and Staff Events
- Lead, plan, and execute internal and external events
- Oversee all planning, creative designs, written materials, logistics, and on-site management for each event
- Prepare briefing documents for senior management
- Work with partners and vendors to execute events
Community Relations
- Provide strategic input and oversee coordination on selected internal and external projects
- Oversee creative development and production, content, and written materials
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- minimally 4 years of working experience in an MNC’s communications department, a Public Relations agency, or in journalism
- Fluent in English and outstanding written English skills
- Understand how traditional and social media work and be able to leverage them
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in banking is an advantage
- Relevant degree or diploma
