The Tax Manager will be in charge of all categories of tax matters, including but not limited to tax compliance and planning projects. Senior candidates with considerable experience may lead a team, coordinate tax-related activities, and offer detailed advice on tax matters to both internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities Of This Position Include
- Handling overall tax matters and tax related accounting matters to ensure the tax compliance of the company and reduce potential tax risk;
- Keeping up-to-date with the changes in tax regulation and industry trends, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications;
- Providing tax advice to business partners to ensure the business processes and transactions are consistent with Singapore tax regulations;
- Dealing with global tax issues including but not limited to tax regulations and practices research, tax solutions provision etc.;
- Handling tax compliance related matters, including but not limited to:
- Performing regular tax compliance work, such as GST filing, CIT filing, etc.;
- Tax planning;
- Preparing and submitting external tax-related reports;
- Applying for tax incentives, such as zero tax rate of GST etc., and cooperating with the inspection of the relevant authorities;
- Preparing Transfer Pricing Document (if necessary);
- Maintain and develop effective communication with the government authorities, prepare and submit the data/reports required;
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree majoring in accounting, taxation or economics, with 7 to 10 years of working experience;
- Strong executive ability and adaptability, with the personal quality of meticulous, conscientious and responsible;
- Good communication skills;
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, to facilitate effective communication with Chinese-speaking counterparts;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
