Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Analysis and Design:
· Analyze project requirements for industrial robotic equipment/machines.
· Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for industrial automation.
2. Electrical Schematic Drawings:
· Create detailed electrical schematic drawings using E3 (or ePLAN as a second option).
· Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation.
3. Component Selection and Procurement:
· Source and select control components based on project specifications.
· Place orders for control components and coordinate with suppliers.
4. Control System Setup:
· Execute control system setup, including IO system configuration, servo and step drive setup, and axis tuning.
· Ensure the proper functioning and integration of control components.
5. Technical Support:
· Provide on-site technical support during the installation and commissioning of robotic equipment/machines.
· Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues.
6. Documentation:
· Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
· Emphasize compliance with Technical Construction Files (TCF) standards.
Job Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience in designing and developing electrical control systems for industrial automation.
· Proficiency in programming PLCs, with preference given to experience with Beckhoff PLCs.
· Experience in programming motion controllers, robots, and touch panels is an added advantage.
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical and control engineering roles.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues.
· Proficient in both written and spoken English.
