Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Central Kitchen Operation Manager to oversee our central kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, a passion for efficiency, and the ability to lead a team dedicated to excellence in food production and distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations of the central kitchen, ensuring efficient production and distribution of food to multiple outlets.
- Team Management: Train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Production Oversight: Coordinate food production schedules, monitor quality control measures, and ensure recipes are consistently followed.
- Inventory and Procurement: Oversee inventory levels, ordering of ingredients, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Budget Management: Monitor expenses, control costs, and maximize profitability while meeting production targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with culinary, procurement, and logistics teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Production Manager, or similar role in a central kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of food production processes, inventory management, and quality control procedures.
- Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Food Service Management, or related field preferred.
