Responsibilities
- Work closely with other team members and key technical resources (including the Database Administrators and Data Architect), to help design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement ETL processes supporting the data warehouse projects and enhancements.
- Create and maintain documentation for database designs, ETL processes, and data-related procedures.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Provide support for Teradata-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
- Assisting with requirements gathering and designing the business process dimensional models.
- Develop, manage, and validate existing data models including logical and physical models of the data warehouse and source systems.
- Develop and program test scripts to identify and manage data inconsistencies and testing of ETL processes.
- Designing and developing exception handling and data cleansing / standardization procedures.
- Evaluate and improve data quality throughout source systems by implementing data quality safeguards.
- Investigate, analyze, document, and assist in resolution of data quality issues reported by business users and Information Delivery personnel.
- Provide production support for fiscal period financial close-out processing including manual loads and file transfers and validation of processed data.
- Provide assistance to Business Intelligence Developers (setting up and testing reporting instances & upgrades, troubleshooting data and technical issues within reports, developing reports, performance tuning, etc.
Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)
- Education – Bachelor's Degree in Engineer Or Bachelor's Degree in Technology Or Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum 12+ year of experience.
- Must have expert in database line oracle , SQL.
- Must be expert in Unix and Linus to handle the command based environment.
- Must have experience of ETL – Informatica Power Centre.
- Able to manage OLAP/Reporting: SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Good to have banking experience.
- PMP and Agile certification.

- ETL: Informatica PowerCenter 9, 10.5
- Tools: Oracle SQL Developer, Teradata SQL Assistant, TOAD
- OLAP/Reporting: SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence
- Programming Language: ASP.net
- Database/RDBMS: Oracle 11g, Teradata 13.1, 14.10, MS Access 2007, SQL Server 2005
