We are looking for Senior or Speech and Language Therapists to be a part of our dynamic trans-disciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals which include Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist, and Social Worker.
Community Integration Service (CIS) is a mobile service that aims to support the integration of children and youth with physical disabilities into their schools and community so that they can reach their fullest potential. This is achieved by empowering clients with skills for holistic development and promoting supportive environments in collaboration with families, educators and community partners. Community Integration Service (CIS) provides a range of intervention programs (individual and group activities) to support our client's ability to participate in their schools, home and community. Individual intervention session are provided at the client’s home.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify the individual needs of clients and formulate, develop and implement appropriate individualised therapy programmes;
- Liaise with various disciplines involved in the rehabilitative treatment process;
- Work independently and provide intervention sessions at home;
- Refer clients to the respective specialists for consultation and intervention;
- Facilitate discussions with caregivers and educators in schools;
- Provide/organise group activities for clients;
- Work closely with the AHP team involved in delivering service to clients; and
- May be assigned AHPC supervisory function for senior therapist.
Job Requirements:
- Recognised Degree / Master in Speech & Language Pathology (listed in https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg/ahpc/apply-to-be-a-registered-allied-health-professional/lists-of-recognised-qualifications);
- Fully registered therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore;
- Prior working experience with paediatric group is preferred;
- For senior role, applicant should have at least 5 years of direct experience; and
- A team player and adaptable to work in a community based setting
