Job Responsibilities
- Greets guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Prepares alcoholic, non-alcoholic and other beverages for customers and servers in accordance with Hotel’s stipulated standards.
- Ensures all orders are transacted via the point-of-sale system in an accurate manner.
- Equips with updated knowledge of the Hotel’s products and services especially in the area of F&B promotions /offerings.
- Demonstrates ability to create new and appealing beverage recipes.
- Completes all assigned opening and closing duties such as checking and maintaining par stocks of glassware, beverages and bar supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepares all condiments required to garnish drink orders.
- Performs general cleaning duties such as wiping Bar regularly, proper disposal of debris etc. to ensure a clean work area at all times.
- Adheres to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
- Handles other F&B duties as and when assigned by Assistant Manager / F&B Manager.
Education & Work Experience
- GCE ‘O’/’N’ Level or equivalent
- Possesses Food & Beverage experience with general knowledge of restaurant /bar operations preferred
- Good customer service skills in interacting with customers & employees
- Certified competent in WSQ basic food hygiene course or valid health/food handler requirements set by local government agency
