Job Description & Requirements
- Responsible for understanding and having a working knowledge of all areas in accounting and being able to assist or cover a position if needed.
- Ensure compliance of the accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness to support critical business needs and recommend procedure as and when needed.
- Assist Head of Finance on the compilation of the yearly budget.
- Support various divisions month end and yearend financial reporting submission.
- Provide guidance and support to the various Finance team to ensure the financial operation is delivered according to guidelines and timeliness.
- Support monthly reporting analysis and offer insights and/or recommendations on how to improve financial performance.
- Support the financial projections, forecast and reporting to stakeholders.
- Assist in developing work plan and schedule to meet company financial goals.
- Responsible for performing any additional duties assigned by the supervisor and assisting in all areas of Finance as needed.
- Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities of the Group .
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accountancy with 4 to 5 years of working experiences in an audit or accounting management position
- Requiring minimal supervision
- Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and ability to assess accounting treatment based on relevant accounting standards
- Ability to stick with time constraints
- A keen eye for details and desire to probe further into data
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in respective accounting software is a plus
