Duration of Service:
- Contract Period: 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
- Option to Extend: 1 year extension (1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026)
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:30pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and teaching lower secondary computer education programs, covering:
- Microsoft Office Certification
- Programming languages (e.g., Python, Swift using Swift Playgrounds)
) - Computational thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving using ICT equipment (e.g., M5GO, LEGO Mindstorms, MicroSchool Teaching and Learning platforms (e.g., Teams, Class Notebook)
- AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Train students in the Infocomm Club on creating videos, graphic posters, and animations
- Coordinate and support student competitions related to multimedia
- Maintain photography equipment
- Provide technical support and maintenance for the school website
- Support school programmes and events with:Collateral materials
Photography and videography
Multimedia resources for teaching and learning
- Perform any other assigned duties
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
- Proficient in conducting ICT-related training and workshops in areas such as Microsoft Office Suites, video editing, coding, and AI literacy
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in providing computer enrichment programs in a school environment
Proficiency in: - Microsoft Office Suites (including Teams and OneNote Class Notebook)
- Designing software (Pro-Create, Canva)
- Video creation software (Capcut, iMovie, GarageBand, Adobe suites)
- Programming languages (e.g., Python, Swift using Swift Playgrounds)
- School Teaching and Learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook)
- School website content development through Isomer
- Experience in various multimedia and programming projects
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be a good team player
