Job Description:
- Analyse and review product requirements, follow up on implementation processes, and proactively expose risks and avoid issues.
- Deeply understand product requirements and technical implementation principles, independently design and write test plans, test case documents, and continuously improve and maintain documentation.
- Perform functional testing, numerical testing, performance testing, automation testing, etc., to ensure product quality.
- Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks tailored for mobile game testing, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.
- Timely report game bugs, follow up on fixes, deeply understand bug causes, summarise experiences, and continuously improve project output quality.
- Actively identify and drive the resolution of progress, process, and quality risk issues in projects.
- Proficiently use Linux engine tools, plan data configuration checks, art resource checks, etc., in testing work.
- Documentation: Document test results, automation frameworks, and testing processes to maintain comprehensive records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior QA team members on automation testing best practices, tools, and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of game testing experience. Experience in the complete development and launch of large-scale game projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with client-side, server-side, automation frameworks, engines, security, etc., in one or more specialised testing areas is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, PHP, with a focus on automation scripting and test automation development.
- Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Proficient in spoken and writing English & Chinese (due to inherent nature of our business/ subsidiary in China and able to communicate with suppliers from time to time)
