Duration: 2-year contract (renewable)

Roles and Responsibilities:
Large Installation Testing:
- Inspect and test unlicensed electrical installation to ensure that it is safe to receive electricity supply
- Liaise with stakeholders (LEW/SPPG etc) on arranging an appointment for supply turn-on for residential premises above 45KVA and sample unit inspection of electrical installation
- Perform sample unit inspection and pre-turn on of residential units of private residential development
- Arrange and attend photovoltaics (PV) system testing
- Participate in productivity projects and user acceptance testing such as RPA and IT system upgrades
- Conduct metering setup site checks as requested by Engineer
Small Installation Testing:
- Perform inspection, testing and turn-on of electricity supply to customer’s electrical installation.
- Liaise with principals in removal of meters, de-energizing the incoming supply and removal of service cables
- Coordinate with external parties such as LEWs, SPPG, government authorities and etc, for performing inspection, testing, turn-on and investigation work.
Requirements:
- Diploma in an Electrical discipline
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Possess Class 2/2A/2B/3 driving license and own vehicle preferred
- Knowledge in MS Office
- Conversant in Singapore Standard SS 638, SS 650 & Electricity Regulations
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills
